The permanent collection mainly consists of artworks belonging to Cubism, Surrealism and Abstract art, and artists such as Picasso, Salvador Dalí, René Magritte, Brâncusi, William Congdon, Conrad Marca-Relli, Pollock, Jasper Johns, Donald Judd, Mark Rothko, Andy Warhol. Italian artists like Lucio Fontana, Afro Basaldella, Agostino Bonalumi, Toti Scialoja, Giuseppe Santomaso, Tancredi Parmeggiani, Emilio Vedova e Carla Accardi are well represented too.
The museum always proposes temporary exhibitions of contemporary art too, and it's also worth a visit because of its famous garden and terrace on the Grand Canal, where it's not rare to take part to special evenings and cocktails.
